Two unique apartments in a former olive press in Alcoutim,
Alcoutim is a tranquil, authentic Algarve town on the Guadiana River, perfect for tourists seeking history, nature, and a slow pace away from coastal crowds, featuring a medieval castle with stunning views, river beaches like Pego Fundo, hiking trails, traditional whitewashed houses, and unique border town culture with a ferry to Spain.
It’s a blend of historic exploration, outdoor activities (kayaking, cycling, walking), cultural immersion (museums, crafts), and local gastronomy.
Casa Praia has one double bedroom, bathroom and spacious living kitchen. It has its own sunny roof terrace overlooking the Praia Fluvial, Alcoutim’s unique river beach.
Casa Verde has two double bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom plus utility room with washing machine and a roof terrace enjoying views of the river beach and surroinding countryside. The big living kitchen has patio doors letting in the Algarve sunlight and providing a view of greenery and olive trees. For those cosy evenings there is a wood stove in the lounge.
The apartments can be rented separately by the week or opened up into one incredibly well equipped three-bedroom two bathroom apartment.
Both apartments have free wifi, hairdryers, Smart TV, kettle, microwave, toaster, espresso machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and each has its own rooftop patio.
All towels and bed linen are provided.
